For PayPal’s 2015 IPO, we launched New Money—a global brand platform introduced on Super Bowl Sunday with a bold statement: the world deserves better than the outdated financial system. Our hero spot aired during the game and took over Times Square, positioning PayPal as the modern alternative to fees, delays, and financial gatekeeping.
I led the brand launch, including the creation of a comprehensive 100+ page identity system rolled out across print, digital, and out-of-home. Designed to scale globally, the system was adopted by PayPal’s teams and partner agencies around the world—marking a new era not just for the brand, but for money itself.

We brought New Money to life on a global scale, customizing the campaign for markets around the world. We produced over 30 unique commercial spots tailored to regional audiences, alongside an expansive suite of print, digital, and out-of-home creative. From hyper-local content to global messaging, the campaign made sure New Money wasn’t just a statement—it was everywhere.
As an extension of the campaign, we concepted and built Faces of New Money—a digital experience that invited users to design their own currency. We developed a modular system of colors, graphics, and customizable elements that layered together to create countless unique permutations. The goal: give people a sense of ownership in the new financial future.
